Don Climax celebrates Customers Service Week

Don Climax Ventures Limited last Monday joined the rest of the world to celebrate Customers Service Week. The week runs from Monday, October 5 through Friday, October 9, 2026 with the theme, “The Extra Mile.”

The theme reminds service teams to go beyond basic expectations. This includes solving problems, listening closely, and taking personal ownership of customer needs.

The goal of the week highlights the hard work of customer service staff. It also shows that good service helps businesses grow and keeps customers loyal.

By keying into these noble objectives, Don Climax intends to inculcate in its team the best practices that make for memorable customer experience and keep them coming back.

Speaking on the service week, the company’s Human Relations Manager, Joseph Njoku, said the theme of this year’s Customer Service Week which Don Climax fully subscribes to, seeks to remind its workers of the need to do extra things that make things easier for customers and make them happy to keep coming back. These things, he said, may include phone calls, visits, promoting customers products and services etc.

He said the week has provided the company the opportunity to ask itself questions such as: “How well are we serving our customers? How satisfied are our customers with us, and how do individual staff contribute to make business going by serving the customer right and maintaining the company’s motto of integrity.

He said each staff should be able to ask himself what the customer’s experience of dealing with me makes him want to do next.

According to Njoku, good customer service relations is about building relationships, earning trust and creating experiences that give customers a reason to stay with us, deepen their relationship with us and choose us again when they think of bonded terminal operations and logistics services.

“As a customer-focused logistics company, going the extra mile, to us, is about the big actions we take, the choices we make in the moments that matter the most to our clients, owning up when things go wrong, making a complicated process feel simple, listening properly before offering an answer, or calling the customer back when we need to. These simple actions have a cumulative effect on customers, and that is what differentiates us from competitors.”

All over the world, the Customer Service Week provides an important opportunity to celebrate the people who serve customers every day. This is seen as something that goes beyond October celebration, but should be a reminder of the culture that should be built throughout the year.
